FRC-529 for T1-11 cedar siding and walls
FRC-529 is a water-based, semi-clear coating intended to slow fire spread. It allows wood grain and color to remain visible. For a siding or wall project, start with the documented tests on T1-11 cedar panels and the stated wall assembly.

Match the coating to your project
Tell us the siding material, whether it is painted or stained, and where you plan to apply the coating. Review the data sheet with your contractor or applicator for preparation, application, thickness and safety information.
The purpose is to slow fire spread. The coating does not prevent a fire from starting or continuing. Application is the responsibility of the customer or their applicator.
